NSW Country

The NSW Country boys have already participated in two selection camps and recently had a game day held at Valentine Sports Park where teams from Northern NSW and Capital Football joined NSW Country and NSW Metropolitan in a series of trial matches.

The Under 13 and Under 14 Country boys will have one more camp in preparation for the National Youth Championships.

Head Coach Andrew Fearnley was looking forward to the Challenge at Coffs Harbour.

“There was some good competition for places in the Country Squads, and the selected players have earnt their right to represent NSW Country at the National Championships.

“The Country Squads have prepared well for the National Championships and we look forward to seeing our best regional footballers show their abilities - individually and as a team - at the National Championships.

“In addition to an opportunity to play against the best players from across Australia, it will be a good test to the players to compete at this level.”
